We sell across Amazon, Blinkit, Shopify, and quick-commerce platforms, and have a strong presence on Instagram. We're looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our growing operations team.
Role Overview
We're hiring a Purchase Executive to manage procurement of raw materials, packaging, and consumables for our manufacturing unit, ensuring timely availability of inputs while optimizing cost and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and place purchase orders for raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables
- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for pricing, delivery schedules, and quality compliance
- Maintain and update vendor database, price comparisons, and purchase records
- Track inventory levels and coordinate with production/warehouse teams to avoid stockouts
- Reconcile purchase orders with GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes) and invoices
- Follow up on pending deliveries and resolve discrepancies (short supply, quality issues, rate mismatches)
- Coordinate with accounts team for vendor payments and outstanding reconciliation
- Identify new vendors and negotiate better rates/terms to optimize procurement costs
- Ensure compliance with GST and documentation requirements for all purchases
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Commerce/Business preferred)
- 1–4 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or nutraceuticals
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with Tally is a plus
- Good communication skills
- Must be willing to work from/relocate to Baddi, HP
Preferred
- Experience in supplements, nutraceuticals, or food manufacturing industry
- Understanding of raw material sourcing for protein/nutrition products
