Summary:
As an Engineering Services Practitioner, a typical day involves supporting comprehensive Vendor engineering activities aimed at delivering effective technical solutions in aircraft cabin Design. This role requires collaboration across various engineering disciplines, including vendor management and technical oversight. The practitioner actively engages in problem-solving by applying a blend of scientific principles, socio-economic insights, and hands-on experience to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects. Daily tasks may include coordinating with cross-functional teams, reviewing technical documentation, and contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering processes to support business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:

- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment of engineering solutions with project requirements and business goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of engineering deliverables.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to foster professional growth.
- Assist in the preparation and review of technical reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Aircraft Interior Design.
- Strong Knowledge in Airbus Process and methods-Mandatory
- Good communication & stakeholder management capabilities -Mandatory
- Knowledge in Catia v5 application-Mandatory
- Ability to Read and understand Engineering drawing & BOM and good knowledge in GD&T-Mandatory
- Experience in working with monuments like Stowage / Partition / Doghouse / Lavatory / Galley / Bar etc -Mandatory
- Exposure to knowledge towards SB process and creation & Coordinate with vendors and focal points, including document reviews, commenting, and closure of action items-Mandatory
- Perform data extraction, filtering, and consistency checks across multiple systems (APS, TAKSY, CLDB, PDM Link CC, VPM, Catia V5 etc.)-Mandatory
- Facilitate validation and verification (V&V) reporting, requirement solving, and handling of remarks/rejections & participating in milestone meetings, on-site witnessing tests, and preparing minutes of meeting and witnessing reports-Mandatory
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Aircraft Interior Design.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education in Engineering and Airbus VPM PASS Certification is required.
