Business Development Manager (IT Services)
Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing business opportunities. The ideal candidate should have experience in IT services sales, lead generation, client relationship management, and proposal development. The role requires a strong understanding of software development, web/mobile applications, cloud solutions, and digital transformation services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound sales, networking, LinkedIn, referrals, and online bidding platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable IT solutions.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to create customized solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Track sales activities using CRM tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Participate in conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to generate business opportunities.

Qualifications

- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach, and lead generation tools.
- Experience with online bidding platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, or Clutch.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
