The Opportunity:
UST is looking for Embedded Testing
Responsibilities:
- Board bring-up and initial power-on validation
- IFWI and Operating System update
- Perform PCB rework, including component replacement and soldering
- Verify and validate mandatory hardware rework
- eSPI rework and log capture
- Image and reimage the Operating System and perform basic validation
- Power sequence signal capture and rework validation
Customer System
Hardware assembly and power-on validation
BIOS, CSME, and EC firmware updates
Power-on debugging and rework validation
I2C rework and log capture
Log Capture / Oscilloscope Analysis
Debugging support and issue reproduction
Capture eSPI and I2C logs using the Acute Logic Analyzer
Set up the Acute Logic Analyzer on the target platform
Configure eSPI signals and trigger conditions based on debug requirements
Correlate captured traces with platform behavior to support root-cause analysis
Oscilloscope probe setup and signal measurements
Capture and save waveform data and screenshots for debugging and reporting
Support root-cause analysis during board bring-up and validation activities
Issue Replication
Reproduce and debug issues based on HSD tickets
Boot failure and boot-related issues
Device Manager warning (Yellow Bang) issues
BIOS log capture and analysis
Power and Power Performance
PnP board bring-up, BIOS update, and OS image deployment
NI DAQ setup and connection
Workload application installation and configuration
Calibration of power measurement equipment
Oscilloscope captures and power measurements based on workload scenarios
Circuit and Design Analysis (CDA)
Follow up with POC to obtain design files within the committed ETA
Create project folders for each design
Review and process design-related emails
Update and maintain the CDRM workload tracking sheet
Monitor and track TNT communications
Initiate DG, manual, and partial-manual reviews
Create TNT schematic and layout review tickets and upload design files
Share TNT review reports with Customer Engineers (CEs)
Follow up on review completion and pending design files
Verify required files for manual and automated design reviews
