Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to lead the Finance & Accounts function. The Accounts Manager will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, statutory compliance, audits, cash flow management, and ensuring accurate accounting practices while supporting strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC, and other statutory regulations.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Handle direct and indirect taxation, tax planning, and return filings.
- Coordinate internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, receivables, payables, and general ledger.
- Develop and implement financial controls, SOPs, and process improvements.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead and mentor the Accounts & Finance team.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- MBA (Finance) is an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–10 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and ROC compliance.
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and MIS.
- Experience in statutory and internal audits.
- Proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar).
- Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
