Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:

Design and handle large scale simulation models including multiple production lines, storage areas and material handling systems such as AGV, Tuggers, Forklifts etc.

Develop and maintain complex performance intensive SimTalk programming for advanced control behavior, KPI calculation and reporting.

Creation of new and modification of existing simulation models in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation

Validate simulation models using real operational data and assumptions.
-
Perform what-if scenarios to evaluate layout changes, automation concepts, demand variability.
-
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and capacity constraints and propose optimization solutions i.e. Resource Utilization, capacity analysis, scenario evaluation.

Statistical analysis from model to find out bottleneck and resolve it.

Communication with customers from start to end of project, documentation of project data and results.

Create and manage custom libraries, ensure documentation and version controlling for reuse and scalability.
Required Skills and Experience:
-
3–6 years of hands-on experience in Material Flow simulation with Tecnomatix Plant Simulation or equivalent DES software.

Experience working in Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics & Supply chain.

Experience in Detailed intra plant Logistics process modeling starting from Dock till point of use is an added advantage.

Experience in optimizing resource capacities, utilization and scenario evaluation.

Ability to analyse large data sets and convert them into robust simulation logic

Experience in project management activities: project report preparation, project documentation, interaction with customers for technical discussion.

Strong analytical and data handling skills using excel, python etc.
-
Tools: Tecnomatix Plant Simulation (Preferred), or any equivalent tools.

Working in Object oriented programming skills, Expert in SimTalk programming language.

Strong communication skills and ability to explain simulation results to non-simulation experts

German Language skills – added advantage
Work Experience
Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

Experience working with automotive or manufacturing domain.

Experience working in international environment
-
Experience in Lean Manufacturing, logistics planning principles and automation technologies like AGVs/AMRs, Conveyor and overhead systems, Automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS).

Programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, VBA, SimTalk)
