Mountain Shadows Resort, Wayanad is seeking a friendly, well-presented, and customer-focused Guest Relations Executive to ensure exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, and a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out
- Ensure guests receive warm, professional, and personalized service
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, feedback, and complaints efficiently
- Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences
- Maintain guest relations records and special requests
- Conduct guest follow-ups and collect feedback to improve service quality
- Assist in VIP guest handling and special occasion arrangements
- Support reservation and front office operations when required
- Provide information about resort facilities, local attractions, and activities in Wayanad
- Ensure lobby and guest interaction areas maintain hospitality standards
- Build positive relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits and positive reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in hospitality, front office, or guest relations preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam
- Hindi communication ability will be an added advantage
- Pleasant personality and professional appearance
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel software preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
