Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, particularly in PLC, HMI, AMR/AGV, and warehouse material-handling systems.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and providing site support for automation solutions used in warehouse logistics and material-handling applications.
The role involves close coordination with Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Operations teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and safe automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based automation systems.
- Design and configure HMI applications, screens, alarms, and controls.
- Support the integration and commissioning of AMR/AGV systems.
- Work on warehouse automation and material-handling systems.
- Integrate and troubleshoot conveyors, sensors, motors, VFDs, actuators, barcode/RFID systems, and other automation equipment.
- Understand machine sequences, interlocks, alarms, and safety requirements.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, control schematics, and I/O documentation.
- Perform automation commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and site support.
- Identify and resolve electrical, PLC, HMI, and automation-related issues during installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams during machine integration.
- Support system testing, validation, and handover to customers/operations teams.
- Prepare and maintain relevant automation documentation.
- Support integration with higher-level systems, databases, APIs, or warehouse management systems where required.
Required Technical Skills
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Good experience in HMI development and configuration.
- Practical experience with AMR/AGV integration or warehouse automation systems.
- Good understanding of:
- Conveyors
- Sensors
- Motors
- VFDs
- Actuators
- Barcode/RFID systems
- Material-handling equipment
- Knowledge of industrial communication networks and protocols.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, control schematics, and I/O documentation.

- Basic knowledge of database/API or higher-level system communication will be an added advantage.
Candidate Requirements
- Candidates who are local to Hyderabad or currently residing in Hyderabad will be preferred.
- Candidates should be willing to stay at the company's guest house as required during the project/assignment.
- The candidate should be comfortable working at customer/project sites and warehouse environments.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting is required.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
Qualification
BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates with hands-on experience in warehouse automation, AMR/AGV, conveyor automation, PLC programming, HMI, and material-handling systems will be preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
