We are looking for a confident, persuasive, and target-driven Academic Counsellor to guide students and parents in choosing the right educational course. This is a sales-focused role - you'll work on qualified leads provided to you, understand each student's goals, and counsel them toward the best-fit program while meeting enrolment targets.
- Reach out to leads provided (calls, WhatsApp, follow-ups) and build rapport with students and parents
- Understand each student's academic background, goals, and concerns, and recommend suitable courses
- Counsel and persuade prospective students to enrol, addressing objections professionally
- Maintain consistent and timely follow-ups until the admission is closed
- Achieve monthly enrolment and revenue targets
- Handle basic documentation and update lead status/records accurately
- Coordinate with the Sales Manager for support, escalations, and closing assistance
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in [Malayalam and English / languages required]
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable in a sales environment
- Discipline in follow-up and basic record-keeping
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred)
- Prior experience in sales, counselling, tele-calling, or education is an advantage
