Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Restaurant Captain to lead the Food & Beverage service team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will supervise restaurant operations, coordinate with kitchen staff, maintain service standards, and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant and service staff.
- Welcome guests, assist with seating arrangements, and ensure excellent customer service.
- Assign duties to waiters/stewards and monitor their performance.
- Ensure food and beverages are served according to hotel service standards.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely order preparation and service.
- Monitor table turnover and ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Train, mentor, and guide new service staff on SOPs and hospitality standards.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper table setup in the dining area.
- Monitor stock of cutlery, crockery, linens, and other service equipment.
- Prepare duty rosters and assist in staff scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Assist with banquet functions, special events, and buffet operations when required.
- Support billing, cash handling, and daily closing activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service, with at least 1–2 years as a Restaurant Captain or Senior Steward in a hotel or resort.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
