Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, tender documentation, and project budgeting for construction projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and thorough knowledge of construction materials, labor costing, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil and construction projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and quantity take-offs.
- Evaluate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Coordinate with procurement, project, and design teams for pricing and technical clarifications.
- Prepare tender documents, quotations, and bid submissions.
- Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control measures.
- Conduct site visits whenever required for project evaluation.
- Maintain estimation records and cost databases.
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and costing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
- Good understanding of BOQ preparation and tendering processes.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
