Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician with hands-on expertise in single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, induction motor operations, and precision use of electrical measurement tools. The ideal candidate will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems across industrial and commercial environments while adhering to applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Wiring Installation
- Install, maintain, and repair single-phase and three-phase electrical wiring, switchgear, and distribution panels.
- Lay out and connect electrical circuits for motors, control panels, and power distribution systems.
- Carry out cable routing, conduit fitting, and termination work as per design drawings.
- Ensure all wiring complies with IS/IEC electrical codes and workplace safety norms.
Induction Motor Operations
- Install, commission, and maintain single-phase and three-phase induction motors.
- Diagnose motor faults including overheating, vibration, phase imbalance, and insulation
failure.
- Perform DOL (Direct-On-Line), Star-Delta, and VFD-based motor starter wiring and
commissioning.
Measurement Tools & Testing
- Proficiently operate clamp meters to measure AC/DC current, voltage, frequency, and power factor.
- Use digital multi meters for continuity, resistance, diode, and voltage measurements.
- Identify and troubleshoot faults using tools — open circuits, short circuits, ground faults, and phase loss.
Maintenance & Safety
- Conduct preventive maintenance schedules for motors, panels, MCBs, MCCBs, and
contactors.
- Observe all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before working on live equipment.
- Respond to electrical breakdowns promptly and minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain logbooks for maintenance activities, faults, and corrective actions.
Basic Computer Operations
- Use MS Excel or similar tools to log maintenance data, generate reports, and track asset history.
- Navigate email and workplace communication software for receiving job assignments and escalations.

- Valid Wireman / Electrical Supervisor License from the State Electrical Inspectorate

- Basic Computer / MS Office Proficiency Certificate — Preferred
Preferred Industry Experience
- Manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, or commercial complexes
- IoT-based systems or smart building environments
- Exposure to PLC panels and motor control centres (MCCs)
Working Conditions
- On-site work environment involving heights, enclosed spaces, and live equipment areas
- May require shift-based working, on-call availability, or weekend support during breakdowns
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
