Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineers to join our team for projects in the Marine, Shipbuilding, Ship Repair, Oil & Gas, LMC, and MDPE Pipeline industries. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing mechanical works at project sites while ensuring compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and execute mechanical works at project sites.
- Coordinate mechanical activities in Marine, Shipbuilding, Ship Repair, Oil & Gas, LMC, and MDPE Pipeline projects.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Supervise mechanical fabrication, installation, pipeline works, maintenance, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and site teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Prepare daily progress reports, inspection reports, and other technical documentation.
- Coordinate material requirements and support procurement activities.
- Conduct inspections and ensure quality control of mechanical works.
- Assist in project planning, execution, commissioning, and handover.
Required Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in any of the following industries:
- Marine Engineering
- Shipbuilding and Ship Repair
- Oil & Gas
- LMC Pipeline Projects
- MDPE Pipeline Installation
- Mechanical Fabrication and Installation
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.
- Strong technical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.
Experience: Relevant industry experience preferred.
