Job Purpose
To provide safe, high-quality, and compassionate nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ nursing needs and provide appropriate patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and clinical observations.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
- Ensure proper implementation of infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care where applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and readiness of the assigned unit.
- Educate patients and their attendants regarding treatment, medication, and discharge instructions.
- Coordinate with doctors and other departments for effective patient care.
- Attend emergency situations and provide immediate nursing interventions.
- Ensure proper handover during shift changes.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold patients’ rights and dignity.
- Follow hospital policies, SOPs, and NABH quality standards.
Qualifications
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration
Experience
- 0–5 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Freshers may also apply based on departmental requirements.
Skills & Competencies
- Good clinical and nursing skills
- Knowledge of medication administration and patient safety
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergencies
- Teamwork and coordination
- Basic computer and hospital documentation skills
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
