Role & responsibilities
- Conduct chemical analysis of waste materials (solid, liquid, hazardous, non-hazardous) using standard laboratory techniques and instruments
- Maintain lab equipment, calibrate instruments, and ensure a clean and safe lab environment.
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety protocols in handling chemicals and waste.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, procedures, and compliance data.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or related discipline.
- Experience: 0- 3 years in a lab chemist role, preferably in waste management, chemical, or environmental services industry.
- Hands-on experience with analytical instruments and laboratory procedures
