Role Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services for multiple infrastructure and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor management, purchase planning, cost optimization, timely material delivery, and ensuring procurement activities comply with company policies and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from purchase requisition to material delivery.
- Source and evaluate vendors based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and reliability.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and finalize purchase orders.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and store teams to understand procurement requirements.
- Ensure the timely availability of construction materials, equipment, and project-related supplies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and follow up with suppliers to avoid project delays.
- Compare vendor quotations and recommend cost-effective procurement solutions without compromising quality.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, contracts, invoices, and purchase documentation.
- Coordinate with the finance department for invoice verification and vendor payments.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contractual obligations.
- Track market trends, material prices, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and vendor disputes.
- Prepare procurement MIS reports, purchase summaries, and vendor performance reports for management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations will be an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, hospitality, or real estate procurement is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, purchase orders, contracts, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
Travel Requirement
Occasional travel to project sites and vendor locations may be required based on business needs.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
