Job Summary & Key Objectives
We are looking for a skilled Hardware & PCB Design Engineer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in electronic hardware design, schematic development, PCB layout, prototype validation, and product development. The candidate will be responsible for designing reliable and cost-effective electronic circuits and multilayer PCBs for embedded and industrial applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, PCB design tools, component selection, debugging, and manufacturing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog and digital hardware circuits based on product requirements.
- Create detailed schematics, BOMs, and PCB layouts for multilayer boards.
- Work on microcontroller, power supply, communication interface, and mixed-signal designs.
- Perform PCB routing considering EMI/EMC, thermal management, and manufacturability.
- Coordinate with mechanical and production teams during product development.
- Support prototype assembly, testing, debugging, and validation activities.
- Conduct hardware bring-up and root-cause analysis for design issues.
- Select components based on performance, availability, reliability, and cost.
- Generate manufacturing files including Gerber, pick-and-place, assembly drawings, and documentation.
- Interact with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors for design reviews and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and continuous product improvement activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout design.
- Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as:
- Target3001
- Altium Designer
- KiCad
- OrCAD
- Knowledge of multilayer PCB design and concepts.
- Experience in power supply design, signal conditioning, and communication protocols.
- Understanding of EMI/EMC guidelines and PCB manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience using lab equipment:
- Oscilloscope
- Multimeter
- Logic Analyzer
- Function Generator
- Knowledge of DFM/DFT practices.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Attention to detail and documentation practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers.
- Exposure to industrial, automotive, IoT, or consumer electronics products.
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as UL, or IPC.
- Experience with prototype testing and product certification.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
