Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Sales Leadership
- Own the region's revenue targets (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Field Sales Executives and Solar Consultants.
- Develop sales plans aligned with company goals and regional potential.
- Ensure consistent lead-to-closure funnel movement and improve conversion rates.
2. Team Management & Performance Tracking
- Conduct daily/weekly reviews on lead status, pipeline, closures, and challenges.
- Set clear KPIs for team members: visits per day, closures, pipeline quality, CRM discipline.
- Provide ongoing training on sales pitch, objection handling, and technical skills.
- Identify underperformance early and implement corrective actions.
3. Technical Oversight & Quality Control
- Ensure sales teams conduct accurate technical site surveys.
- Review and validate proposals for correctness in system sizing, design, pricing, and subsidy eligibility.
- Be the escalation point for technical queries, objections, and high-value customers.
- Verify technical feasibility before committing timelines or pricing.
4. Customer Engagement & Key Account Handling
- Handle high-ticket customers or escalated prospects personally.
- Handle commercial high ticket leads personally.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience from first visit to installation completion.
- Build long-term relationships and drive referral generation.
5. Operations Coordination & Project Delivery
- Ensure all files closed by the region move smoothly through operations: survey, installation, documentation, and net-metering.
- Coordinate daily with the Operations Manager to resolve issues and speed up project timelines.
- Monitor installation quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction post-installation.
- Escalate and close technical or execution issues proactively.
6. Market Intelligence & Competition Tracking
- Track competitor pricing, offers, communication style, and market movement.
- Identify new residential clusters, builder tie-ups, and regional growth pockets.
- Provide inputs for pricing strategy, marketing campaigns, and new product bundles.
7. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain accurate reports on revenue, pipeline, collections, referral flow, and team productivity.
- Ensure 100% CRM compliance across the region.
- Present regional performance to management with insights and action plans.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- 2–5 years of rooftop solar sales experience (mandatory).
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems (mandatory).
- Experience managing sales teams in solar or related industries.
- Ability to conduct and guide technical site assessments.
- Deep understanding of inverters, modules, structures, protections, subsidy, net metering, and installation workflow.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
