We are seeking a passionate Cyber Security Specialist & Technical Trainer with 6 months to 1 year of experience to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate should possess practical knowledge of cyber security, ethical hacking, vulnerability assessment, and network security while also having a passion for mentoring students through hands-on, project-based learning. This role combines real-world cyber security responsibilities with technical training and academic engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, identify, analyze, and respond to cyber security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for applications and networks.
- Implement and maintain security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Configure and manage firewalls, endpoint security, antivirus solutions, and network security tools.
- Monitor security events using SIEM and log analysis tools.
- Support incident response and investigate security incidents.
- Perform security testing for web applications, APIs, cloud environments, and infrastructure.
- Prepare security reports, documentation, and technical recommendations.
- Utilize AI-powered cyber security tools to enhance threat detection and security operations.
- Deliver Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking training sessions at Acadeno Technologies and partner colleges.
- Mentor students through practical labs, Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges, live projects, and real-world security scenarios.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, hackathons, and technical awareness programs.
- Stay updated with the latest cyber security threats, AI technologies, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in Cyber Security or Information Security.
- Strong understanding of Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
- Experience with tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of Web Application Security and the OWASP Top 10.
- Familiarity with firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM platforms, and security monitoring.
- Basic knowledge of Cloud Security and Identity & Access Management is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-powered security tools and AI-assisted cyber security workflows.
- Knowledge of Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring future cyber security professionals.
- Willingness to conduct technical training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
