Airen International Limited, a leading manufacturer of PP / BOPP Woven Sacks in India, operates its Head Office in Indore and a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.
We are looking for a Purchase Executive to join our growing team and support procurement activities for both our Head Office and manufacturing operations.

Role Summary
The Purchase Executive will be responsible for procurement activities for both the Indore Head Office and the Ratlam manufacturing plant. The role involves sourcing and purchasing raw materials, engineering items, consumables, spare parts, packaging materials, office supplies, and services required for smooth business operations while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely availability of materials.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Purchasing
- Handle end-to-end procurement activities from requirement collection to purchase order issuance.
- Procure raw materials, BOPP and PP-related materials, masterbatch, additives, packaging materials, engineering spares, maintenance items, consumables, office supplies, and services as required.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate with vendors for the best commercial terms.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely order placement.
Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Identify and onboard new vendors when required.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery, pricing, and service standards.
- Maintain vendor records and documentation.
Coordination & Follow-up
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Stores, Accounts, and Administration teams for purchase requirements.
- Work closely with the Ratlam plant team for production, maintenance, and project-related procurement.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Resolve supply-related issues and delays to avoid production interruptions.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor inventory levels and support timely replenishment of materials.
- Avoid stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Assist management in cost reduction initiatives and alternate sourcing opportunities.
- Maintain proper purchase records and reports.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, comparative statements, purchase orders, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in manufacturing industries.
- Experience in procurement for manufacturing plants will be preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and purchase documentation.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
