Job Summary
Harsha Institutions is seeking an experienced and dedicated College Administrator to oversee day-to-day administrative operations and ensure the smooth functioning of the institution. The candidate should possess excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills and be capable of handling academic and administrative responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily administrative operations of the college.
- Coordinate with the Principal, Heads of Departments, faculty, and non-teaching staff.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and statutory regulations.
- Maintain student and staff records, files, and official documentation.
- Coordinate admission, examination, and academic administrative activities.
- Supervise office administration, housekeeping, security, and campus maintenance.
- Coordinate transportation, hostel, and other support services as required.
- Prepare reports, official correspondence, meeting minutes, and presentations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies such as AICTE, VTU, UGC, PCI, INC, KNC, and other authorities during inspections and audits.
- Monitor attendance, leave records, and administrative discipline.
- Coordinate procurement of office supplies, stationery, and institutional assets.
- Ensure proper maintenance of institutional records and documentation.
- Handle student, parent, and visitor queries in a professional manner.
- Coordinate institutional events, meetings, workshops, seminars, and official functions.
- Perform any other administrative duties assigned by the Management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Master's Degree preferred).
- Minimum 2–5 years of administrative experience in a college or educational institution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Kannada.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Desired Skills
- Good interpersonal and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong documentation and record management skills.
- Knowledge of accreditation, inspections, and statutory compliance will be an added advantage.
