The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic partner to assigned business units, responsible for aligning business objectives with employee and management needs. The HRBP serves as a consultant to leadership on human resource-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, and seeks to develop integrated solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in an HR role, with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or equivalent strategic capacity.
- Proven experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop strong, trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or MBA .
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience supporting Markets/client-facing business units.
- Working Environment: office setting, minimal travel required.
- Effort: minimal physical effort required.
