Job Title: Dental Hygienist
Location: Bhopal, Madhya PradeshOrganization: People's University
Key Responsibilities:
l Perform oral prophylaxis (scaling and polishing) under supervision.
l Assist dentists during dental procedures and treatments.
l Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
l Maintain patient records and treatment documentation.
l Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
l Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
l Support in dental radiography procedures (if trained).
l Manage patient appointments and provide pre/post-treatment instructions.
Eligibility Criteria:
l Diploma in Dental Hygiene / Dental Technology (mandatory).
l Registration with the relevant Dental Council (mandatory).
l 0–3 years of experience in a dental clinic or hospital setup.
l Freshers with good academic background may also apply.
Required Skills:
l Good communication and interpersonal skills.
l Strong attention to detail and patient care orientation.
l Knowledge of dental instruments and hygiene procedures.
l Ability to maintain cleanliness and sterilization standards.
l Basic computer knowledge for maintaining records.
Preferred Attributes:
l Experience in clinical dental settings.
l Ability to handle patients with empathy and professionalism.
l Willingness to learn and adapt to new dental technologies.
