Project Planning & Execution
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of solar transmission line projects from concept to commissioning.
- Develop detailed project execution plans including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and quality.
Technical Oversight
- Review and approve engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documents.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, regulatory guidelines (CEA, CERC, DISCOMs), and safety norms.
- Oversee the integration of substations, transmission lines (132 kV/220 kV/400 kV), and grid connectivity.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as EPC contractors, consultants, local authorities, and utilities.
- Conduct regular progress reviews with internal and external teams.
- Handle permits, clearances, and coordination with state/central grid authorities.
Financial & Commercial
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, and cost control measures.
- Evaluate contractor invoices, work orders, and negotiate change orders as necessary.
- Track procurement and logistics of major equipment (e.g., towers, conductors, transformers).
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing project execution team.
- Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure training as needed.
Risk & Quality Management
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure quality control, HSE compliance, and conduct audits/inspections during construction.

Key Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of transmission line design, construction, and commissioning (preferably in solar sector).
- Knowledge of Indian regulatory landscape for power transmission.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
