Job Summary
Plan and coordinate weddings and events from client discussions to successful execution, working closely with the Design, Production, Operations, and Management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Coordination — handle client discussions, requirements, and updates through the project.
- Event Planning & Scheduling — prepare plans, timelines, and checklists for each event.
- Team & Vendor Coordination — align internal teams and vendors to the plan and schedule.
- Budget Support — assist with estimates and track costs against the plan.
- Event Execution — support on-site setup, coordination, and smooth running of events.
- Documentation & Reporting — maintain records, trackers, and post-event reports.
- Quality & Client Experience — ensure events meet Shiga Pettals' quality and brand standards.
Required Skills
Communication, client management, planning, coordination, time management, problem-solving, attention to detail, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
Technical Skills
MS Office, Google Workspace, basic project management tools, CRM (preferred), Canva (basic), and AI productivity tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline. Relevant experience will also be considered.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Organized, proactive, client-focused, and collaborative. Willing to travel across South India. Fluent in Tamil, Hindi and English.
