Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and qualified Sports Teacher (M.P.Ed / B.P.Ed) to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting physical education classes, coaching students in various sports, and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle across all grade levels. You will play a key role in organizing school sports events and preparing students for inter-school competitions.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver structured Physical Education (P.E.) lessons daily for different age groups.
Sports Coaching: Train students in major sports (e.g., Football, Cricket, Basketball, Badminton, Athletics, or Yoga).
Event Management: Organize annual sports days, Inter-House matches, and fitness camps.
Student Safety: Ensure a safe environment during sports activities; maintain and supervise the proper use of sports equipment.
Talent Identification: Identify talented students and provide them with advanced training for zonal, district, or state-level tournaments.
Discipline & Values: Discipline students gently but firmly, teaching them teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership skills.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) or Bachelor’s degree (B.P.Ed) from a recognized university.
Experience: [e.g., 1–3 years] of experience teaching sports in a school environment (Fresher candidates with strong sports backgrounds may also apply).
Skills:
Excellent communication and motivational skills.
Deep knowledge of rules and regulations of multiple sports.
Basic first-aid knowledge.
Language: Fluency in English and [Local Language, e.g., Hindi].
