Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Commis I Chef with hands-on experience in Tandoor, Chinese, and Continental cuisine. The ideal candidate should have strong culinary knowledge, the ability to maintain food quality standards, and experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes in Tandoor, Chinese, and Continental sections as per recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure proper food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
- Assist in stock management and monitor food inventory.
- Ensure timely preparation and service of food orders.
- Coordinate with senior chefs and kitchen staff for smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain proper storage of food items to avoid wastage.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma/Certificate in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or relevant field preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in Tandoor, Chinese, and Continental cuisine.
- Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and in rotational shifts.
- Team player with good communication skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Candidates with prior experience in hotels, restaurants, resorts, or catering kitchens will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
