Job Overview:
The Business Development Representative is responsible for converting trial class attendees into long-term enrolments by engaging parents, addressing concerns, and highlighting the value of
structured education. The role involves following up, objections handling, and leveraging insights from the Inside Sales Team to maximize conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
⬛ Lead Engagement & Follow-Up: Connect with parents who attended trial classes but did not enroll.
⬛ Educate & Consult: Highlight the importance of structured education and missed opportunities.
⬛ Objection Handling: Address concerns regarding pricing, class schedules, and mentor experience.
⬛ Sales Conversion: Promote exclusive offers, scholarships, and flexible payment options.
⬛ Collaboration with Inside Sales Team: Utilize insights from initial interactions to personalize sales pitches.
⬛ CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of interactions and provide regular sales performance updates.
Key Requirements:
◆ Experience: 1-2 years in EdTech sales
◆ Skills: Strong communication, Strong Persuasion, Interpersonal skills, Negotiation skills,
Leadership quality and creativity in forming Sales strategies and pitch.
◆ Mindset: Target-driven, proactive, and customer-focused.
◆ Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRM tools, WhatsApp, and MS Excel
◆ Availability: Flexible to work in peak sales periods.
Performance Metrics:
- Conversion Rate: Leads converted to enrolments.
- Follow-up success: Engagement vs. closed deals.
