Group Company: LeadSquared
Designation: Product Designer
Office Location: Embassy Tech Square, Omega Block, Bengaluru
Experience: 1–3 Years
Position Description:
We are looking for a Product Designer to join the Product & Design team at LeadSquared. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in product/UX design and a strong interest in solving complex user problems through thoughtful and intuitive product experiences.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other designers to design and improve key product experiences — from understanding user problems and creating user flows and wireframes to developing high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
The role will involve working on SaaS and enterprise product experiences, including data-heavy screens, dashboards, workflows, and other high-frequency product journeys. We are looking for someone with strong UX fundamentals, good Figma skills, a user-centric mindset, and the ability to learn and contribute within a collaborative product environment.
The original JD describes LeadSquared as a Sales Execution & Marketing Automation SaaS platform serving 2,000+ enterprises across 40 countries, with design focused on turning product complexity into clarity.
Primary Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Product Design: Support the design of product features from problem understanding to final handoff, including user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes.
- User Research & Validation: Participate in user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and other research activities. Help synthesize findings and translate user feedback into actionable design improvements.
- Information Architecture: Help structure complex workflows, dashboards, and data-heavy screens into intuitive and easy-to-navigate experiences.
- Design Systems: Contribute to LeadSquared’s design system in Figma by using and creating reusable components, variants, and patterns while maintaining visual consistency.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to understand requirements, explore solutions, and ensure designs are implemented effectively.
- Interaction Design: Design clear user flows, interactions, feedback states, and basic micro-interactions that make product experiences intuitive and responsive.
- Responsive Design: Create designs that work effectively across different screen sizes and understand basic responsive web design principles.
- Design Handoff: Prepare clear design specifications and prototypes in Figma and collaborate with engineers during implementation.
- Continuous Iteration: Use user feedback, product analytics, usability findings, and stakeholder inputs to identify friction points and continuously improve product experiences.
- Accessibility: Follow basic accessibility and inclusive design principles, with an understanding of WCAG guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in Product Design / UX Design, preferably in a SaaS, enterprise software, B2B, or digital product company.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating the end-to-end design process — problem understanding, research, ideation, wireframing, and final UI.
- Good hands-on proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variants, and Prototyping.
- Strong understanding of UX fundamentals, including information architecture, task flows, usability principles, and basic heuristic evaluation.
- Exposure to user research methods, such as user interviews, usability testing, surveys, or card sorting.
- Understanding of responsive web design and basic awareness of technical constraints affecting design decisions.
- Exposure to working with or contributing to a shared design system/component library.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile/product environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions and incorporate feedback.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Fine Arts, or equivalent professional experience.
These requirements are adapted from the original JD, which specifies portfolio strength, Figma proficiency, UX fundamentals, research methods, responsive design, design systems, Agile working, and communication as core qualifications.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to CRM, ERP, MarTech, SaaS, or enterprise B2B products.
- Experience designing dashboards, reporting interfaces, or data visualizations.
- Familiarity with motion design or advanced prototyping tools such as ProtoPie or Principle.
- Exposure to AI-assisted product/design patterns, such as AI workflows, copilots, or confidence indicators.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or React component concepts.
- Exposure to A/B testing and product analytics.
- Familiarity with tools such as FigJam, Maze, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Jira, Notion, or Figma Dev Mode.
