Job Title: Senior Accountant – Accounting & Finance
Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the organization’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining statutory compliance, and supporting financial planning and analysis. The role requires strong expertise in accounting principles, taxation, and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate recording of transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
- Monitor general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
2. Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable regulations.
- Prepare and file statutory returns within timelines.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare documentation, replies, and submissions for income tax scrutiny, assessments, and appeals
- Coordinate with tax authorities, consultants, and auditors for hearings and case resolutions
3.Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget vs actual performance and highlight variances.
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
- Oversee daily banking operations, bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and funds management.
- Well versed with the knowledge of LC and BG process.
4. Internal Controls
- Implement and monitor financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.
- Identify risks and recommend improvements in financial processes.
5. Vendor & Payment Management
- Review vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with relevant departments for collections.
- Manage cash flow and banking transactions.
6. Team Coordination
- Guide and supervise junior accountants or finance executives.
- Ensure proper documentation and workflow management within the finance team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred.
Experience
- 10-12 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Experience in handling taxation, audits, and financial reporting.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Expertise in accounting software (Tally / ERP systems).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
