Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or related field
Job Summary
Responsible for overall maintenance and smooth functioning of hospital utilities, equipment, electrical systems, HVAC, generators, water supply, and facility operations. Ensure preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and NABH standards are maintained across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise facility technicians and support daily maintenance operations
- Manage attendance, leave, and performance of maintenance staff
- Monitor and maintain UPS, DG sets, boilers, gas plant, chillers, pumps, drainage, and utility systems
- Ensure uninterrupted electrical supply and monitor HT/LT meter readings and power factor
- Prepare and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules
- Handle maintenance of A/C systems, electrical DBs, lighting, and water supply systems
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with NABH standards and infection control measures
- Coordinate repair and troubleshooting of telephones, printers, computers, PA systems, TVs, and photocopiers
- Maintain log books, maintenance records, and service reports
- Ensure complaints are resolved within 24 hours
- Ensure all licenses, approvals, and statutory documents are valid and renewed on time
- Conduct energy audits and implement energy conservation initiatives
