SPIN CYCLES is a fast-growing India-based laundry and dry-cleaning company with 70+ stores across Bangalore. Customers can visit our stores or schedule doorstep pickup and delivery through our service network.
We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and detail-oriented Laundry Manager / Laundry Supervisor to join our team at our Bangalore – Whitefield office. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of laundry operations, dry cleaning, stain removal, finishing, machinery, and manpower handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily laundry and dry-cleaning operations.
- Supervise washing, dry cleaning, stain removal, pressing, ironing, and finishing processes.
- Ensure garments are processed as per fabric type, care label, and quality standards.
- Handle guest laundry and premium garment cleaning requirements.
- Guide and manage washermen, pressmen, stain removers, helpers, and finishing staff.
- Monitor usage of washer extractors, dry-cleaning machines, hot press, utility machines, and other laundry equipment.
- Maintain quality control at every stage of production.
- Identify stains, fabric risks, colour bleeding issues, shrinkage risks, and finishing defects.
- Ensure proper chemical usage and safe handling of laundry chemicals.
- Improve productivity, reduce rework, and maintain timely delivery.
- Coordinate with store, production, QC, and dispatch teams.
- Maintain discipline, cleanliness, safety, and workflow on the production floor.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Expert knowledge of dry cleaning and laundry processes.
- Strong experience with washer extractors, hot press, utility press, steam press, and ironing machines.
- Expert knowledge of stain removal, spotting, chemicals, and fabric care.
- Good understanding of fabrics, garments, finishing standards, and care labels.
- Strong knowledge of pressing and ironing techniques.
- Ability to manage manpower and allocate work efficiently.
- Good knowledge of laundry machinery operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to maintain quality, productivity, and process discipline.
- Should be responsible, punctual, and capable of handling production pressure.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in laundry, dry cleaning, guest laundry, or commercial laundry operations.
- Prior experience as Laundry Lead, Supervisor, Laundry Manager, Production Supervisor, or similar role preferred.
- Should be able to independently manage daily production activities.
- Must be willing to work from the Whitefield, Bangalore office/production unit.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be hands-on, practical, quality-focused, and capable of leading a production team. The person should understand both premium garment care and high-volume laundry operations.
Pay: ₹8,789.87 - ₹40,756.30 per month
