Job description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Handle international projects (USA/UK) ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Develop, review, and manage LOD-based 3D BIM models for all MEPF disciplines
- Prepare and validate shop drawings, GA drawings, as-built drawings, and construction documentation
- Perform clash detection, coordination, and resolution using BIM tools
- Integrate and work with point cloud data for scan-to-BIM and as-built modelling (if applicable)
- Ensure model accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to BIM execution plans (BEP)
- Coordinate with architects, structural teams, and other disciplines for seamless project delivery
- Manage project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and timely delivery
- Conduct client meetings, technical discussions, and presentations
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of BIM engineers/modelers
- Review team outputs to ensure quality and standard compliance
- Implement and monitor QA/QC processes and best practices
- Handle RFIs, submittals, and technical queries
- Ensure adherence to company standards, project specifications, and international workflows
Support proposal, estimation, and project kick-off activities (if required)
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong hands-on experience in MEPF design coordination and BIM modelling
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
- Experience in 3D modelling, drawing extraction, and documentation
- Good understanding of international codes (NFPA, ASHRAE, IPC, NEC, etc.)
- Experience working on USA/UK-based projects and client standards
- Strong knowledge of clash detection, coordination workflows, and BIM processes
- Familiarity with scan-to-BIM / point cloud workflows
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client interaction skills
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work under deadlines
