Position Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving quality management systems across Tathastu Dental Clinic. The role ensures compliance with healthcare standards, patient safety protocols, infection control practices, clinical quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines while promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Management System (QMS)
- Develop, implement, and maintain the clinic's Quality Management System.
- Establish quality policies, procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Monitor compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure standardization of clinical and administrative processes across the clinic.
2. Clinical Quality Assurance
- Monitor adherence to clinical protocols and treatment guidelines.
- Conduct regular quality audits of patient care and clinical documentation.
- Review treatment records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for identified quality gaps.
- Support clinical teams in implementing best practices.
3. Patient Safety & Risk Management
- Develop and monitor patient safety programs.
- Investigate incidents, complaints, adverse events, and near-miss occurrences.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective actions.
- Track patient safety indicators and quality metrics.
- Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
4. Infection Prevention & Control
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Monitor biomedical waste management practices.
- Conduct regular infection control audits.
- Organize training programs on hygiene, sterilization, and safety practices.
- Maintain documentation related to infection control compliance.
5. Regulatory & Accreditation Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and statutory requirements.
- Maintain quality records, policies, licenses, certifications, and audit documentation.
- Prepare the clinic for accreditation assessments and external audits.
- Coordinate regulatory inspections and compliance reviews.
6. Audit Management
- Plan and conduct internal quality audits.
- Coordinate external audits and inspections.
- Prepare audit reports and monitor closure of observations.
- Track quality improvement initiatives arising from audit findings.
7. Training & Continuous Improvement
- Develop quality awareness programs for employees.
- Conduct induction and refresher training on quality standards and SOPs.
- Facilitate continuous quality improvement projects.
- Encourage staff participation in quality initiatives and performance improvement activities.
8. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor key quality indicators and performance metrics.
- Analyze trends related to patient satisfaction, complaints, incidents, and compliance.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly quality reports for management review.
- Recommend process improvements based on data analysis.
9. Patient Experience Management
- Monitor patient feedback and satisfaction surveys.
- Analyze patient complaints and service quality concerns.
- Implement corrective actions to improve patient experience.
- Coordinate with operational and clinical teams to enhance service delivery.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Quality audit compliance score.
- Infection control compliance rate.
- Patient satisfaction score.
- Number and closure rate of CAPAs.
- Incident reporting and resolution timelines.
- Regulatory compliance status.
- Staff training completion rates.
- Reduction in patient complaints and quality deviations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Dentistry, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), Healthcare Quality Management, or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Quality certification (e.g., Internal Auditor, NABH-related training, ISO 9001) is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–8 years of experience in healthcare quality management, hospital quality, dental healthcare quality, or accreditation.
- Experience in quality audits, compliance, infection control, and patient safety programs preferred.

Pay: ₹19,666.59 - ₹69,190.12 per month
