Key Responsibilities
- Perform chemical testing and analysis of construction materials such as cement, aggregates, water, soil, concrete, bitumen, steel, and other civil engineering materials as per applicable IS standards.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and standard solutions for laboratory testing.
- Record, analyze, and interpret test results accurately.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with NABL requirements, quality procedures, and laboratory protocols.
- Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure proper calibration and routine maintenance.
- Prepare test reports and maintain laboratory records and documentation.
- Follow laboratory safety practices and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist during NABL audits, internal audits, and external inspections.
- Monitor inventory of chemicals, laboratory consumables, and testing equipment.
- Coordinate with laboratory engineers and quality personnel to ensure timely completion of testing assignments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related science discipline.
- Freshers with relevant laboratory knowledge or experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of IS standards related to construction material testing.
- Understanding of NABL (ISO/IEC 17025) laboratory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good documentation and report-writing skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in a material testing laboratory or a similar testing environment is preferred.
Salary
As per company standards and candidate experience.
Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
