Looking for Placement Officer/Manager
The Placement Officer is responsible for managing and facilitating the placement process for students. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with IT companies ,organising recruitment activities, and preparing students for employment through training and guidance. The goal is to ensure maximum placement opportunities for students across IT sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industry Outreach & Employer Engagement:
- Identify and build partnerships with companies for campus recruitment.
- Maintain a database of potential employers and regularly follow up for placement opportunities.
- Coordinate industry visits, job fairs, and campus drives.
- Student Support & Training:
- Guide and mentor students on career choices and employment opportunities.
- Organize soft skills and interview preparation sessions (mock interviews, resume writing, etc.).
- Collect and analyze student profiles to match them with relevant job openings.
- Placement Activities Management:
- Schedule and coordinate placement interviews and recruitment events.
- Maintain placement records, reports, and statistics.
- Prepare placement brochures and coordinate with marketing teams.
- Administrative & Reporting:
- Ensure timely communication between students, faculty, and recruiters.
- Submit regular reports to the management regarding placement status and goals.
- Keep updated with labor market trends and changing employer demands.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree , Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in placement, career services, recruitment, or a similar role.
- Strong network within industries relevant to the institution.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and digital communication tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in educational institutions or training centers.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Data-driven approach to improving placement outcomes.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
