Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements, system specifications, and technical designs
- Design comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases
- Lead manual testing efforts across functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT phases
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring proper severity and priority assignment
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and suggest improvements
- Drive test coverage and quality metrics across releases
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Review and improve existing QA processes and standards
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and defect lifecycle
- Expertise in test case design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in web and/or mobile application testing
- Strong experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
- Good knowledge of SQL for backend validation
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Exposure to automation tools like Selenium (even if not hands-on expert)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
- Performance or security testing knowledge is a plus
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
