About the Role
We are seeking a passionate English Teacher for Classes III–V to build strong language skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and comprehension. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment that fosters communication, creativity, and a love for language.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English as per CBSE curriculum guidelines.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments.
- Use interactive teaching methods such as storytelling, role plays, debates, and language games.
- Promote reading habits and literary appreciation.
- Conduct formative and summative assessments and provide feedback.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and language-rich classroom environment.
- Support students with varied learning needs through remedial and enrichment activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Integrate Smart Boards, digital tools, and multimedia resources into teaching.
- Maintain academic records and participate in school meetings, training, and curriculum activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in English or related field (mandatory).
- B.Ed. preferred/required as per school norms.
- D.El.Ed./TTC is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools preferred.
- Experience teaching English at the primary level (Classes III–V).
- Freshers with excellent English communication skills may also apply.
