We are seeking a motivated and professional Education Counsellor to support our international education initiatives and guide prospective students throughout their application journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students about international education programmes, admission requirements, application procedures, and available opportunities.
- Coordinate with university admissions teams to facilitate student applications and ensure the timely submission of documents.
- Maintain regular communication with students, admissions departments, and institutional partners.
- Follow up with prospective students to improve application and enrolment conversions.
- Maintain accurate student records and update pipeline, opportunity, and conversion reports using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Prepare presentations, analytical reports, and updates for management meetings.
- Manage assigned partner accounts and prepare periodic performance reports.
- Conduct market and programme research and provide relevant insights to management.
- Respond professionally and promptly to student enquiries.
- Contribute ideas for student engagement, brand outreach, and lead-generation activities.
- Support the team in achieving student recruitment and revenue targets.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to two years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, polite, and student-focused approach.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Excel or Google Sheets, and Zoom.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a hybrid working environment.
- Self-motivated, organised, proactive, and comfortable working toward defined targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address student enquiries effectively.
- Prior exposure to education counselling, admissions, student recruitment, customer service, or inside sales would be an advantage.
