Job Description – Production Manager
Role Overview
The Operations Manager within the printing industry holds a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of daily production processes, the achievement of operational excellence, and the upholding of superior quality standards. This position demands exemplary leadership, advanced organizational acumen, and in-depth familiarity with printing technologies and procedures. In addition to overseeing production, the Operations Manager is also tasked with staff hiring and office administration to support the organization’s overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all printing and branding operations to guarantee the timely and accurate completion of client orders.
- Plan, organize, and manage production schedules, optimize resource allocation, and closely monitor output to maximize operational efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and enforce rigorous quality assurance protocols in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Supervise the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all printing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaborate proactively with sales, design, production, and logistics teams to facilitate integrated workflow and elevate customer satisfaction.
- Lead the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of qualified staff members in accordance with the organization’s human resources policies and best practices.
- Supervise, mentor, and appraise employee performance to cultivate a skilled, motivated, and cohesive workforce.
- Manage all aspects of office administration, including facility management, procurement of supplies, and adherence to administrative policies and procedures.
- Monitor and control operational expenditures, prepare detailed reports, and contribute to financial planning and budgeting activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, and foster an organizational culture centered on workplace safety and well-being.
- Initiate and oversee continuous improvement projects to strengthen operational processes, enhance efficiency, and minimize waste.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Printing Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in print production, operations, or manufacturing management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management capabilities.
- Knowledge of printing equipment, branding processes, and production workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in operational planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
