IMPORT PRICING = Key Responsibilities
- Handle import pricing enquiries promptly and accurately
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, and internal teams
- Prepare competitive quotations for customers and sales teams
- Negotiate rates with carriers, agents, and service providers
- Maintain rate records and update pricing database regularly
- Support business development team with timely and market-competitive pricing
- Follow up on enquiries and convert opportunities through sharp commercial support
- Understand trade lanes, routing options, transit time, and service feasibility
Candidate Profile
- Experience in import pricing in freight forwarding/logistics
- Good knowledge of sea freight / air freight pricing and costing
- Exposure to overseas agent handling and quotation management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good commercial sense and quick response approach
- Experience in WCA / JCtrans network business preferred
Prferred Experience
- Relevant experience in freight forwarding pricing

We are hiring for Export Ocean Freight Pricing for our Vashi office. We are looking for a sharp and focused pricing professional with strong freight forwarding background and sound market understanding. Candidates with 5 to 7 years of experience are preferred. However, candidates with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience will also be given an opportunity.
The ideal candidate must have strong relations with Liners and NVOCCs and should be focused on obtaining sharp and competitive pricing.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle export ocean freight pricing enquiries efficiently
- Obtain and negotiate competitive rates from liners, NVOCCs, and partners
- Prepare customer quotations with strong commercial accuracy
- Maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and overseas agents
- Support sales team with fast turnaround and market-competitive pricing
- Monitor market trends, freight fluctuations, and trade lane opportunities
- Coordinate with internal operations and sales teams for service feasibility
- Ensure timely follow-up on quotes and business opportunities
