Summary
We are seeking a highly motivatedQuality Assurance Engineer with hands-on experience intest automation, functional testing, and test case design/execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of enterprise applications, be familiar with tools such asSAP, qTest, and Azure DevOps, and possess a continuous learning mindset to adapt to new technologies and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensivetest plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Performfunctional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintainautomated test suites to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Analyse business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to create effective test scenarios.
- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
- SupportUAT/ Production sanity testwhen required.
- Generate and maintain testing metrics, reports, and quality dashboards.
- Continuously improve testing processes, automation frameworks, and quality practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience inSoftware Quality Assurance.
- Hands-on experience withtest automation frameworks and tools.
- Strong experience in creating and executingmanual and automated test cases.
- Working knowledge of SQL for Database querying, data analysis and validation.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and test lifecycle management.
- Experience working withenterprise applications and business processes.
- Experience usingqTest for test management.
- Working knowledge ofAzure DevOps for requirements, defect management and SAFe/Agile delivery.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices.
- Experience testing APIs using tools such asPostman/Bruno.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
Good to have
- Experience with automation tools such asPlaywright,Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Working knowledge automation testcases with the ability to develop and maintain automation Framework
- Exposure to cloud-based platforms and enterprise integration solutions.
- E-commerce/billing application background
- Familiarity withSAP environments and workflows.
