Role Purpose
The Assistant Planning Manager supports the Planning Manager in preparing, updating, and monitoring project schedules, ensuring accurate progress tracking and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing baseline project schedules and detailed work programs.
Update schedules based on actual progress and site inputs.
Support critical path analysis and identification of potential delays.
Coordinate with project teams to collect progress data and verify information.
Prepare weekly and monthly planning reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Review subcontractor schedules and progress updates.
Maintain planning documentation and ensure data accuracy.
Support delay analysis and time-related claims under supervision.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
4–7 years of experience in project planning or scheduling.
Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.
Basic understanding of CPM scheduling and construction sequencing.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Competencies
