Job OverviewWe are looking for a Zoho Functional Consultant with 3 to 5 years of hands-on implementation experience to lead the deployment, customization, and optimization of our Zoho ecosystem. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert who looks at a business problem and designs the functional solution blueprint using the optimal mix of Zoho One applications.You will own the system architecture from a functional standpoint, ensuring that module relationships, blueprints, automation rules, and third-party integrations perfectly align with enterprise workflows.
Key Responsibilities1. Solution Architecture & Module Design
- Translate validated business processes into scalable functional specifications and system architectures within the Zoho One suite.
- Design complex, multi-department entity-relationship models (e.g., how Zoho CRM data flows natively into Zoho Desk, Zoho Projects, and Zoho Books).
- Architect data validation strategies, field layouts, and module hierarchies to prevent system fragmentation and maintain data integrity.
2. Advanced Implementation & Process Automation
- Lead end-to-end implementation cycles, managing initial environment setup, domain mapping, user access controls, and security hierarchies.
- Configure advanced business logic using Zoho Blueprints to strictly enforce operational compliance (e.g., sales pipelines, approval chains, escalation paths).
- Implement advanced automation scenarios using standard rules, schedules, webhooks, and Zoho Flow to bridge system gaps.
3. Data Migration & Systems Integration
- Strategy, map, and execute data migration plans from legacy applications or ERP systems into Zoho platforms.
- Scope out functional requirements for custom API integrations and define payload structures for technical developers.
- Maintain global system settings, currency conversions, localized tax matrices (e.g., GST/VAT configurations), and multi-org setups.
4. Delivery & Post-Go-Live Optimization
- Define User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases, oversee functional testing phases, and log defects.
- Act as the functional product owner during go-live phases, troubleshooting complex data mismatches or process loops.
- Audit existing Zoho implementations to identify underutilized features, bottlenecks, or redundant workflows, and recommend technical optimization strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience implementing and consulting on ERP/CRM ecosystems, with a minimum of 2.5 years of dedicated, hands-on functional experience across Zoho One.
- Deep App Expertise: Mastery over core Zoho pillars:
- Front-Office: Zoho CRM, Zoho Desk, Zoho Campaigns.
- Back-Office/Finance: Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Expense.
- Productivity/Ops: Zoho Projects, Zoho Sign, Zoho Forms.
- Technical Interface:
- Exceptional understanding of system integration mechanics (REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON structures).
- Functional familiarity with Zoho Analytics (SQL-based reporting query concepts) and Zoho Creator architectures.
- Preferred: Ability to read or write basic Deluge scripting to construct custom functions when out-of-the-box configurations hit a wall.
- Certifications: Holding a Zoho Certified CRM Administrator, Zoho Creator Professional, or Zoho Certified Consultant credential is a major plus.
- Communication: Exceptional client-facing skills, with the ability to confidently challenge inefficient legacy processes and guide stakeholders toward best-practice solutions.
