Driver Job Description Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable, punctual, and versatile Commercial Vehicle Driver to manage our transport operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating both heavy/medium commercial transport and small pickup utility vehicles, while also assisting with company procurement and general delivery tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Operation:
- Drive and manage the Ashok Leyland 6-wheel container vehicle safely for time-sensitive transit.
- Operate the Tata Intra V50 small commercial vehicle for shorter runs or smaller loads.
- Purchasing & Logistics:
- Take active care of company-related purchases (procuring materials, collecting supplies).
- Handle time-to-time local and outstation deliveries efficiently.
- Safety & Maintenance: Ensure routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, safe cargo loading, and adherence to traffic regulations.
Work Schedule & Attendance
- Working Days: Strictly regular daily attendance required.
- Punctuality: Prior notice is mandatory for any planned leave..
- Leave Policy: Entitled to 1 designated weekly leave (one day off) as per company policy.
Compensation & Benefits
- Overtime (OT): Provided based on operational hours/salary structure.
- Salary Structure: Calculated and structured on an hourly/weekly basis.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
