Job Description (JD) – HR Intern (Garment Industry)
Position: HR & Operations Intern

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our Human Resources department in recruitment, employee documentation, attendance management, and HR operations. The intern will gain practical experience in HR processes within the garment manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring
- Assist in posting job vacancies on job portals and social media.
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates.
- Coordinate interviews and follow-ups with candidates.
- Maintain candidate databases and recruitment records.
Employee Documentation
- Collect and verify employee documents.
- Prepare employee files and maintain HR records.
- Assist in onboarding and joining formalities.
Attendance & Payroll Support
- Monitor employee attendance and leave records.
- Coordinate with departments regarding attendance discrepancies.
- Assist in payroll data preparation.
Employee Engagement
- Support employee welfare and engagement activities.
- Help organize training sessions and company events.
- Assist in employee communication and grievance recording.
- Job Worker & Vendor Sourcing
- Identify and generate leads for garment job workers, contractors, and production vendors.
- Maintain a database of stitching, finishing, embroidery, printing, and other job-work units.
- Coordinate with production and merchandising teams to fulfill outsourcing requirements.
- Conduct preliminary verification of vendor capabilities and capacities.
- Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with job workers and contractors.
HR Administration
- Maintain HR MIS and reports.
- Update employee databases.
- Support compliance and statutory documentation as required.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of HR functions and labor laws.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Qualification
- Pursuing or completed Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday
- 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM
