We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for interior design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to assist in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. You will work closely with senior designers on residential and commercial projects from concept development to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing interior design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
- Prepare 2D drawings, layouts, and working drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create 3D models and renderings using SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, or similar software.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design implementation.
- Assist in material selection, furniture sourcing, and product research.
- Prepare BOQs, estimates, and project documentation.
- Support the team in project planning, scheduling, and client presentations.
- Stay updated with current design trends, materials, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
- 0–1 years of experience (Freshers with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, and rendering software (Enscape/Lumion/3ds Max is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of construction details, materials, and interior finishes.
- Strong creativity, communication, and presentation skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
