Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Unreal Engine Developer Intern to join our development team. You will assist in creating immersive, interactive, and high-quality real-time 3D applications using Unreal Engine 5. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional game development or simulation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and optimizing real-time interactive applications using Unreal Engine 4/5.
- Work with Blueprints and/or C++ to implement gameplay features, UI elements, and interactions.
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to integrate assets and ensure smooth functionality.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in the game logic or environment.
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
- Stay up-to-date with Unreal Engine features and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Interactive Media, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4 or 5, including basic knowledge of Blueprints and/or C++.
- Basic understanding of game physics, animation systems, lighting, and material systems.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
Additional Skills:
- Experience with version control systems like Git or Perforce.
- Exposure to VR/AR development.
- Experience with 3D modeling tools (e.g., Blender, Maya).
- Familiarity with shader programming or Niagara VFX system.
