Tender Executive (GeM Portal) is responsible for managing government tenders and bidding activities through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal and other e-procurement platforms. The role involves identifying tender opportunities, preparing bid documents, ensuring compliance, submitting bids, and coordinating with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor GeM and other e-procurement portals for relevant tenders
- Analyze tender eligibility criteria, BOQ, technical specifications, and commercial terms
- Prepare and submit technical and financial bids within deadlines
- Handle product/service listing on the GeM portal
- Manage reverse auctions, custom bids, and BOQ-based tenders
- Upload required documents such as GST, PAN, MSME, EMD, certificates, and compliance documents
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments for quotations and approvals
- Track tender status, corrigenda, clarifications, and award results
- Handle post-bid activities including order processing, invoicing, and contract execution
- Maintain MIS reports and tender records
- Ensure compliance with government procurement rules and GeM guideline
