Print Pursuit Manager / Print Solution Architect
The Print Pursuit Manager / Solution Architect is a senior pre‑sales and pursuit leadership role responsible for driving high‑value print and Managed Print Services (MPS) opportunities from early engagement through deal closure.
This role owns solution strategy, architectural design, commercial alignment, and deal orchestration , working closely with Sales, Pricing, Delivery, and Partner teams to deliver customer‑centric, scalable, and profitable print solutions .
- Lead end‑to‑end print pursuits , including complex RFPs, renewals, expansions, and transformation deals
- Act as solution and pursuit owner for large, strategic print opportunities (MPS, DWS, digital workflow, multi‑vendor)
- Drive win strategy , value proposition, differentiation, and bid governance
- Own solution approval, risk mitigation, and deal readiness across pursuit lifecycle
- Design end‑to‑end print and MPS architectures covering hardware, software, services, security, and workflow automation
- Translate customer business needs into scalable, future‑ready print solutions
- Ensure solutions are commercially viable, technically feasible, compliant, and repeatable
- Lead solution validation including TCO, ROI models, sustainability and security considerations
- Engage with CXO, IT, Procurement, and Operations stakeholders to shape requirements and outcomes
- Position HP / Partner print solutions as strategic enablers of productivity, cost optimisation, and digital transformation
- Act as trusted solution advisor in customer workshops, demos, and negotiations
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and Pricing teams to define TCV, margin, pricing strategy, and contract structure
- Support creation of business cases, financial models, and value messaging
- Ensure alignment between solution scope, SOW, SLAs, and commercials
- Lead and coordinate bid teams (Sales, Delivery, Pricing, Legal, Supply Chain, Partners)
- Ensure smooth transition from pursuit to delivery with complete solution documentation and handover
- Actively manage risk, dependencies, and escalations during pursuit stage
- Ensure compliance to pursuit governance, approval workflows, and solution standards
- Contribute to solution frameworks, reusable assets, and best practices
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior architects and pursuit resources
- Strong expertise in Enterprise Print, Managed Print Services (MPS), device lifecycle services
- Knowledge of print security, workflow digitisation, analytics, and multi‑vendor environments
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, devices, and endpoint management
- Ability to link solution design to business outcomes, cost savings, and revenue growth
- Strong understanding of TCV‑based selling, annuity services, and long‑term contracts
- Experience working with large, complex, multi‑year deals
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Ability to influence without authority and lead virtual, cross‑functional teams
- Structured thinker with a solution‑first, customer‑obsessed mindset
- 8–15+ years in print solutions, MPS, solution architecture, or pursuit management roles
- Proven experience in enterprise / large‑deal pursuits with measurable win outcomes
- Experience in RFP management, solution design, and CXO‑level engagements
- Relevant certifications in Print, IT services, solution architecture, or project management preferred
- TCV and win rate contribution on strategic print & MPS deals with margin profile.
- Quality and scalability of solution designs
- Contribution to solution standardisation and pursuit excellence
